Archives/Collections Management

Archives hold materials that are valuable to the organization primarily, but not exclusively, for historical reasons.

TMSC Archives Management Services work with the client to:

  1. Define the purpose of the archives and the materials that will, and will not, be contained therein.
  2. Collect and house the materials in appropriate climate-controlled conditions. These may be on- or off-site as best suits the client's needs.
  3. Organize the materials, develop and maintain inventories and finding aids following accepted archives management standards and practices.
  4. Make the materials available to the appropriate audience.
