TMSC develops, maintains, and distributes a range of information tools from FAQs to annotated bibliographies, to toolkits, pathfinders and/or other formats. The tools provide compilations of answers or resources providing accurate, current, relevant information targeted to a topic, a specific user group, or both. Bibliographies, webliographies, pathfinders and resource guides list selected books, articles, audiovisual materials and websites that help build knowledge and skills. Toolkits directly link to selected resources that help implement an initiative or activity.

TMSC’s resource development services include:

1. Determining with the client the purpose and audience of the tool, and types of resources to include.
2. Skilled, experienced information professionals to identify, compile, and organize the resources and prepare annotations to increase their value to the end user.
3. Writing, abstracting, editing and proofreading services.
4. Oversight of production through the full lifecycle of the product, including design, layout, and graphics.
5. Formatting and production in hard copy, online, or both.
