Knowledge Process Development

To manage knowledge and create a sharing environment, many key processes must be developed. Sustainable and repeatable processes are essential in developing and maturing a practical KM program that is replicable and scalable. More importantly, properly developed KM processes can solve many organizational challenges and directly support process improvement, performance improvement and efficiency/effectiveness initiatives.

TMSC proprietary KM processes (also known as the K-Process) are a series of well-proven activities that methodically identify, value, capture/collect, structure, vet, publish, innovate and archive both tacit and explicit knowledge. This series of processes can be either manual or embedded and leverage workflow technologies and business rules.

TMSC also develops processes unique to each organization or revises existing processes such that the newly defined process supports knowledge sharing. Around unique processes, TMSC helps embed learning and knowledge capture activities surrounding the process. These activities support continual innovation and improvement.

Through highly skilled facilitators, TMSC also offers proven processes of harvesting deep tacit knowledge and learning, then turning the learning into applied knowledge. See “Learning Process Development” for additional details.
