Strategy Planning

Over the years, TMSC has learned that a strong and clear knowledge management strategy is essential to successful implementation. We design the strategy in the context of your vision, milestones, operating environment and constraints.

TMSC offers two approaches to strategy development:

1. Collaborative Strategy Development - through focus groups and interviews with key stakeholders and executives, TMSC develops strategy papers and presentations. These foster alignment, understanding and cooperation. TMSC accounts for the overall strategic initiatives of the company. The KM strategy we develop supports your primary initiatives.
2. KM Strategy Workshop - through a facilitated series of workshops, TMSC leads the development of a KM strategy. The first workshop provides general background and education about KM and various strategies to implement it. TMSC provides case studies of KM strategies utilized in other organizations. The strengths and weaknesses of each strategy are identified. Building on what you have learned in the first workshop, the second focuses on the development of your KM strategy. The workshop raises general awareness of how the management of knowledge can support your overall strategic direction as well as support internal operational goals.

After your strategy is developed and accepted, TMSC helps you put it into action. TMSC provides coaching services or can manage your whole KM program.
